Bebe Rexha Delivers More Moody Pop In "All Your Fault: Pt. 2"

Bebe Rexha delivered some really big pop anthems earlier this year with her debut LP All Your Fault: Pt. 1, massive bangers like 'I Got You' taking her sound to a big level. She's back with a more lowkey attitude, as Bebe Rexha delivers more moody pop in All Your Fault: Pt. 2.

Bebe Rexha went for a more conservative approach on this EP, recruiting many rappers to help carry the record. Opening track does it best, the dark and curious instrumental sounding fresh underneath her teasing vocals as Gucci Mane and 2 Chainz provide some decent verses. 'Comfortable' has a moody meaning behind it, Kranium adding an exotic flair to it atop the smooth instrumental. 'I Got Time' offers up a chill and moody soundscape as well, Rexha taking that track on by herself.

All Your Fault: Pt. 2 isn't all a downer, though. There are a couple of more upbeat numbers on the EP that add some color. Lil Wayne appears on a punchier, more upbeat sound in 'The Way I Are (Dance With Somebody),' the song adding a bit of fun to the record. Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line team up for closing track 'Meant To Be' to make a pop-infused country track that actually isn't too bad. '(Not) The One' is this EP's big pop banger in the same vein of 'I Got You.' The gentle synths slowly build as the vocals swell as well, the chill track eventually building into an anthem by its end, though it sounds very similar to Justin Bieber's 'Sorry.'

Bebe Rexha delivers more moody pop in All Your Fault: Pt. 2. It feels much more refined than the first full LP and while it's not perfect, it has all the elements of a good, though standard, pop record. It doesn't go wrong though, which is what does count, and it does bring some fun moments along with it.
