Coachella 2019 Lineup Revealed!

The lineup for this year’s Coachella has been revealed! The annual festival is taking place this April in Indio, California over two weekends (April 12-14 and 19-21), and has a packed lineup to ensure it’ll be an unforgettable weekend.

This year’s festival boasts several big names, but none larger than the three headliners: Childish Gambino (Friday), Tame Impala (Saturday), and Ariana Grande (Sunday). Friday’s lineup features the likes of Janelle Monae, The 1975, Diplo, Kacey Musgraves, Anderson .Paak, Juice WRLD, Jaden Smith, JPEGMAFIA, and more. Some K-Pop representation is also featured on the festival’s Fridays with girl group BLACKPINK towards the end of the lineup! Saturday continues, offering up more awesome names: Kid Cudi, Weezer, Christine and The Queens, Wiz Khalifa, and Superorganism are only some of the names on the roster. Finally, Sunday ends big with the likes of Khalid, Zedd, CHVRCHES, Playboi Carti, Blood Orange, Pusha T, and Jon Hopkins. The full lineup is as follows:

According to reports, this year’s lineup faced quite a few issues. Most recently, Kanye West dropped out of a headlining spot last-minute, causing the festival to scramble to find another headliner last-minute (that headliner is not currently known - the only confirmed one from the start is Childish Gambino). West wanted to perform on a different type of stage rather than the festival’s traditional one, and after the festival couldn’t comply with his requests, the two parties separated. Justin Timberlake also allegedly dropped out of the festival after damaging his vocal cords on his Man Of The Woods Tour.

Who are you most excited to see rock the stage at Coachella? Will you be going, or will you be watching from home?
