New Jay-Z Album "4:44" Out On June 30

It's been a long time since one of hip-hop's leading authorities Jay-Z has released an album (or any music, really), but it seems he's almost back in action. According to Tidal, a new Jay-Z album entitled 4:44 is out on June 30.

Jay-Z's audio streaming service Tidal recently shared a video with Jay-Z's 4:44 campaign statement branded on it entitled "Adnis" (the first single's name?), a dramatic scene showing a man training with a punching bag on top of chill music playing is featured in the video, a low quality verse beginning near the end. You can watch a clip of the video below - the full video is available for Tidal users.

On top of this, Sprint - a sponsor of Tidal - has also teased Jay's new album, launching a page stating that Sprint customers can get a complimentary 6 months of use of Tidal - along with "access to Jay-Z's new album 4:44." According to the page, the Tidal and Sprint partnership will help connect "1 million low-income U.S. high school students who don't have internet access at home."

New Jay-Z music is always good news, especially considering it's been ages since the last release. Let us know if you're excited for new music from Jay-Z! His last album was 2013's Magna Carta Holy Grail, and last year he released a single called 'Spiritual' in the wake of the Treyvon Martin outrage. Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé have also reportedly just welcomed their newborn twins to the world, so perhaps references to that will be included on the record.
