Rock n' Roll Legend Chuck Berry Has Passed Away

The legendary and redefining guitar player Chuck Berry has passed away. He was 90 years old.

Chuck Berry rose to fame in the 50s and 60s with a slew of rock n' roll hits, spawning such classic songs like 'Maybellene' and 'Johnny B. Goode.' At the height of his career, he stood as a popular guitarist in the quickly developing rock n' roll scene and today is celebrated for being a leader of the genre. He overcame the weights of racism and growing up in small town Missouri, become one of music's must influential figures.

It is currently unknown as to why Berry has passed away. Reports say that first responders found him unresponsive in his home in St. Louis, Missouri earlier today, declaring him dead about an hour later. 

It's a tragedy to lose such a legend, but Chuck Berry's legacy will live on in music fans' hearts for a long time to come. He inspired countless people and built something incredible in the art he created. Berry's first album in thirty five years, Chuck, will be released later this year.
